Virtually Live: 16th December 2021

Last update - 16 December 2021 By Rivkin

In this episode of Virtually Live, Shannon Rivkin covers Diversified financials, AGL Energy (AGL), Spark (SPK), the Z Energy dividend statement, Genex Power (GNX), M3 Mining (M3M),A2 Milk (A2M), and URFPA.

In this week’s show

  • 0:33 – General market update
  • 1:15 – Q1: Could you comment on the fortunes or otherwise of the diversified financials. Many have had big falls in price.
Also AGL, do you think it is finding a bottom
  • 4:48 – Q2: Spark paid a $0.12 distribution last week. I was of the understanding that this was going to be a franked dividend, however the statement refers to the payment as a distribution rather than a franked dividend and there is mention of imputation credit on the statement. Can you explain this?
  • 5:53 – Q3: Can you please explain the Z Energy dividend statement in regard to the imputation tax credit? Is that applicable to us in this trade or is it forfeited to New Zealand?
  • 6:34 – Q4: Given the increased focus on climate, what are your thoughts on Genex Power (GNX)? It’s share price does not seem to have jumped over the last five years, so I am wondering if it is even worth considering, and what its fundamentals and outlook (including any potential to be taken over) is?
  • 9:06 – Q5: What is your opinion of M3M, it is about 45% up since it’s recent IPO. Is there merit to this valuation.
  • 10:48 – Q6: Can I please get your thoughts on A2M? The slide in the share price seems to have slowed in the past 6 months with the share price going sideways in the range of $5.50 to $7.00. Is $5.50 a good entry price and do you see much more downside risk from here?
  • 14:54 – Q7: Can you please do a review on URFPA (Step up bond)

The first one is discussing the opening and closing rotations on the ASX and can be found through HERE.
