Tips for using the new website

Here we provide some tips for making navigating our website easier.

Here some helpful tips that will make navigating the site much easier.

  • Filter Options – The ‘Resources’ page is the main page of the website. Below the heading are various quick access filter options including Analysis & Updates, Education, Stock Tables and Strategies. These allow you to quickly filter posts depending on what you are searching for. Here is a description of what each filter option means.
  1. Analysis & Education includes a wide range of articles covering individual stocks, strategy information and insights pieces, and articles that are specifically intended for educating readers on certain aspects of the stock market.
  2. Stock Tables contains a number of informational tables that cover different aspects of the market. For example, there is an upcoming IPO table that lists IPO’s that are scheduled to list in the coming month or two and there is a dividend yield table that shows the top 20 highest dividend yielding stocks in the ASX 50.
  3. Strategies & Portfolios shows only the 5 premium portfolios and other investment strategies offered by Rivkin. Each portfolio has its own post but if you want a quick summary of the holdings of the ASX and US portfolios there are two dedicated posts for this titled ‘ASX Strategy Tables’ and ‘US Strategy Tables’.
  • Additional Filter Options – Further filtering can be done in addition to the high-level filtering described above. Under the ‘Filter’ drop down menu, users can select a wide range of further filter options. For example, to view only Virtually Live episodes user can simply tick the box marked ‘Virtually Live’.
  • Page Layout – The default view of the Resources page has been designed to be appealing to the eye with boxes of various sizes used to show the available articles. However, this can be changed by the user into more of a list view that some members may find easier to navigate. These views can be switched using the two grey buttons at the top right corner of where the articles display.

  • Save Feature – On the left-hand side of each post is a button shaped like a heart that allows members to save that post. When clicked, this will cause that post to appear under the ‘Saved’ dropdown on the main ‘Resources’ page and also in the top menu bar Saved Dropdown. This is especially useful for the Portfolios posts when you have certain strategies you wish to follow.
  • Alert Feature – This feature allows members to ‘subscribe’ to a post such that they will be sent an e-mail alert every time that post is updated. This is particularly useful for the Portfolios posts as enabling this feature will cause you to receive an alert every time the Portfolio is rebalanced.

  • Recent Updates Dropdown – On the top menu bar, there is a clock icon that will display all the latest updates within Analysis Education and Portfolios categories. This is accessible from every page on the website, designed to make the navigation within content more fluent. This feature is only available to our Premium members.

We hope some of these features of the new website make the Rivkin membership experience even more enjoyable. If you are having issues with any of the above features please don’t hesitate to give us a call.
