In this episode of Virtually Live, Shannon Rivkin covers: DroneShield (DRO), Fortescue (FMG), Weebit Nano (WBT) and more.
00:14 – Q1:Is DRO a buy?
04:44 – Q2:I’ve just looked at the ASX Blue Chip Portfolio and see that Fortescue (FMG) is sitting on a gross yield of 15%. The share price has been hit particular hard over the last 12 months and I’m thinking about investing some money into this stock in my pension fund given I should receive the full gross amount of the dividend. I’ve read a lot about a stimulus package for China sometime this year and if that goes ahead I’d expect FMG to benefit quite well from it. So between the yield and the possible growth, I’m becoming bullish on this stock over the next few years. Just some questions please: – Where do you see it heading over the next few years? – What are your thoughts on worst case scenario downside over the same timeframe? – Do you expect the yield to be sustainable?
10:48 – Q3:I have an unusual one for you, I own a substantial number of unlisted shares in AAIG, the parent company of Australian Stock Report. They persuaded me into buying the shares saying that they intended to list very soon but that was over four years ago but have still not listed and probably never will in my opinion. Do you have any suggestions about possible action that I could take ?
12:11 – Q4:GDC, a date centre entity, is at Trading Halt (since Nov 2024). Having received a one-off dividend and capital return, I still have the holding of over five thousand shares and the last trading price of $1.42 on 20 Nov 2024. I wonder what is the prospect of realising my holdings in the near future. Please advise.
14:05 – Q5:Have you heard of a company called Weebit Nano WBT?Just wondering if you have any recommendation or price target for it?
17:12 – Q6:I would like your opinion on Tower Limited – I think this has been hiding in my portfolio since a recommendation back in 2017. I was busy so possibly missed a sell. They sent a link to the shareholders’ meeting and are asking for shareholders to vote on the return of capital and a 1 in 10 reduction in shares. Not something I’ve experienced before.
20:42 – Q7:What is the outlook for BRK and MTH?
