In this episode of Virtually Live, Shannon Rivkin covers: Commonwealth Bank (CBA), Jumbo Interactive (JIN), Nuix (NXL) and more.

In this week’s show

01:18 – Q1:What is driving the CBA share price? Is it sustainable and why is it trading at such high multiples compared to other banks ? have a great day

05:45 – Q2:Can you please explain how pre-opening bids for selling and buying shares works, its as though you inflate your bid to get first in line but how does this play out on the open of trade, where their bid to buy is say 20 cents more than the expected opening price and the seller posts a selling price of say .30 cents under the expected opening price

07:58 – Q3:I have just read about APRA’s proposal to changing Australian banks’ issue of hybrids and the impact on the investor base in hybrid securities. “Hybrid securities are typically held by retail investors in Australia. Bank hybrids will be due to transition beginning on January 1st 2027 and all hybrids would have to be replaced by 2032”.

This will have a major effect on many bank hybrids currently on the ASX and also in the “Income Portfolio’.

Could you please discuss whether the banks will be allowed to continue with the hybrids currently listed that mature before 2032.

10:41 – Q4:Can you please comment on: Jumbo JIN ?

12:25 – Q5:Can you please provide your thoughts on Nuix(NXL)?
