In this episode of Virtually Live, Shannon Rivkin covers: Karoon Energy (KAR), Wam Capital (WAM), Santana Minerals (SMI) and more.
19 – Q1:This is about KAR Karoon Energy, Maybe take a punt and buy some of the company’s shares. If they have so much Oil, then as Trump does not want EVs to dominate the US markets just now then they are worth a risk?
52 – Q2:Why has the WAM leaders price virtually stagnated? Do you see the price increasing any time soon ? I find it hard to believe that the price doesn’t increase considering it pays a dividend over 7% that is fully franked?
35 – Q3:Just seeing if you know much about Santana Minerals Ltd (SMI)? I have 142000 shares with equal number of options @ 0.36c due 28/2/25. Buy or leave?
12 – Q4:I would like your opinions on the proposed merging of Amcor with a company called Berry and how this could impact existing Amcor share holders?
56 – Q5:Can you talk about GDC -GLOBAL DATA CENTRE GROUP? Is there a reporting session calendar available on when ASX companies are due to report?
39 – Q6:I am little confused about the Chemist Warehouse Sigma new entity. My understanding is Chemist Warehouse Shareholders will hold 85.75% of the merged entity and Sigma Shareholders will hold 14.25%. Does this mean Sigma receives 14.25% of Chemist Warehouse profits? Also, when Chemist Warehouse owners come out of escrow and have an opportunity to sell their shareholding does this mean that Sigma will be required to purchase these?
59 – Q7:Your recent Midway recommendation did indeed turn out well. Many thanks indeed! One of the things that I liked about it was the large capital loss that it generated. Your A2B recommendation from early last year was similar and also outstanding.I find myself just now looking for some capital losses to offset gains made this FY. I wonder if you are aware of any similar situations to MWY and A2B that might arise?
22 – Q8:Please can you provide some guidance for AIG, a recent buy stock for Growth, its not performed well from the entry point and the outlook was for slower growth, is this still a buy and or an average down ?
