In this episode of Virtually Live, Shannon Rivkin covers: Arcadium Lithium (LTM), Rio Tinto (RIO), Appen (APX) and more.
02:33 – Q1:I hold about $120K worth of shares in Arcadium Lithium Ltd (LTM). As you would know, RIO has entered into an arrangement to takeover LTM. The shares are currently around $AUS8.25. This arrangement will be finalised, but it may take many months and the share price will always be around $8,25. The only way I see that the price will move is by exchange rate fluctuations or by another player (Eg. BHP or Glencore) coming in and offering a higher price, which I think is unlikely. (there are cheaper lithium grabs around). What should I do; hold on for many months and hope for a higher bidder or sell the whole lot, reinvest some and splurge the rest on holidays, booze & women.
06:39 – Q2:With some renewed interest in the Lithium sector for example RIO and LTM and some producers going bust or struggling to stay afloat is this a good time for ATOM? to mitigate risk for the sector? what is your opinion if this provides good exposure to the sector please or are there other better investments for the Lithium sector?
11:29 – Q3:View of the SPX500 (US Market) – especially in relation to the chip industry like Nvidia.
14:51 – Q4:What is yours view on the Appen SSP?
