In this episode of Virtually Live, Shannon Rivkin covers: Airtaster (ART), Orora (ORA), Bigtincan Holdings (BTH) and more.
00:28 – Q1:Could you please give me your thoughts on a small company called Airtaster (ART)? They just put out some good cash flow information on their UK and US operations.
03:24 – Q2:Can you please provide an update on ORA and whether it is a hold/sell?
05:38 – Q3:Unfortunately, I couldn’t get set at 19.5c. Do you think it is worth buying BTH at 20.5c? From my calculations that would still result in an annual yield of 43% assuming settlement at end of March as expected by management. Even if settlement is delayed to April the trade would still yield 29% annualized.
07:03 – Q4:Is dropsuite a takeover arbitrage opportunity worth considering?
08:25 – Q5:SWF price is 10% up from when I bought in on 23 Jan. Time to sell?
11:52 – Q6:Could you please comment on MRE the metrics real estate Multi strategy fund. I bought into their initial offering at $2 but it keeps dropping a few cents every couple weeks (currently $1.91 as I write this). Returns aren’t at the rate of MOT, GCI etc 0.96cents for MRE compared to 1.6c for MOT. Is this just early setup bumps or has it just not got traction like the other funds.
20:09 – Q7:I hold shares in JBH. I note that there are widely varying Valuations. From 1/11/24 – 24/1/25, they ranged from $68 to $110. I also note that the last two Dividends were $1.83 (including a Special Dividend of $.80 cents per share), and $1.58. Another item of interest is the sale of shares by the CEO Terry Smart. On 11 November 2024, Terry sold 6,500 shares on market, for $532,000, or an average price of $81.85 per share. There are three things that I would love some insight on:
1.Do we know when we will get some insight into the deal that JBH did with the purchase of e&s trading? That is: “The remaining 25% Option to Purchase in 5 years’ Time?”
2.MacQuarie have been issuing updated Valuations recently,. Do we know when they may release an updated Valuation on JBH?
3.What would happen to the share price if they reduce the dividends to exclude the prior Special Dividend of $80 cents per share?
22:44 – Q8:Could you please discuss your thought’s on Trumps new tariffs and what affect you see this having on the Australian market? Do you see any Australian industries actually benefiting from this?
